AWARENESS FOR DISABLED PEOPLE IS NOW BEING TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS

The project called “Awareness for Disabled People in Community” carried out by the Municipality of Alanya and Park and Life Center has been started again with the beginning 2018-2019 Academic Year. The first training was carried out in Fatma Alaettinoğlu Primary School.

AWARENESS IS NOW BEING EXPLAINED TO THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS EVERY YEAR

With the new school year, Alanya Municipality's disability awareness training seminars have started. Alanya Municipality, which aims to instill disabled awareness in the society at a young age, gives a seminar to thousands of students every year to explain the difficulties experienced by the disabled. After the seminar, books about the subject are given to students as presents.

STUDENTS ARE BEING TOLD TO EMPATHIZE

In the training given to the students of Fatma Alaettinoğlu students, the topics such as the definition of the disabled person, the behavior groups according to the disability groups and empathy were explained. At the same time, the world of hearing impaired and basic sign language studies, letters, numbers, daily dialogue issues were included in the training.

Esra Yemez, a psychologist who reinforced her subjects with drama plays and slides, answered the children's questions.

HELP TRAIN IS ON THE WAY

At the same time, the students were given examples of the happiness of sharing.

The Help Train, which continues to wander around the city center, stopped today at Fatma Alaettinoğlu Primary School. Students will collect books, stationery, toys, shoes, clothes and what they can share on the train and deliver it to the Municipality of Alanya to be delivered to friends in the countryside. The students stated that they were happy to share the stuff they collected with the “Help Train” and asked for the campaign to continue.
